We are getting close to reopening our schools for students, so I wanted to provide some quick updates that are important for you to know:
We will be available in the upper parking lot (cafetorium entrance) on Thursday, September 3 from 4:30 to 6:00 PM for anyone who needs a thermometer OR a cloth face covering.
We are encouraging students to have their own masks since it will be much easier to get one that fits and be one that students like, but we will have limited supplies that we can provide. We also have limited supplies of thermometers (everything of this nature has become limited), but we will provide one to those who need it. Please pull in the upper parking lot, stay in your vehicles, have a face covering on and someone will be able to assist you.
We are currently working on a “parent survival guide” and should have it completed tomorrow. This will serve to assist you and your son/daughter on how to navigate the daily processes and procedures that have become our new normal. We have tried to compile a very complete and comprehensive guide for you, but there still may be questions. We encourage you to reach out with additional questions. This will be mailed to every family in the district so you will have a hard copy to use as a constant reference.
We are also going to be mailing home with the survival guide a paper copy of all demographic information. It is very important that you fill these out accurately and return them the first day of school (with your son/daughter) so that we have updated information. This is crucial this year since we will be contacting you DAILY for health screenings for all students.
As always, thank for your constant support and flexibility and reach out with questions or concerns.
